It’s unlikely anyone knows how many times Palmeiras have heard the question. However, we do know it has been responded positively only once: in 1963, Palmeiras beating Bordeaux 4-1, in Bordeaux, after three goals by striker Servílio (289 games for Palmeiras, 10 caps for Brazil). Surprisingly enough, that is the one time Palmeiras have played on French soil.
Not that it matters much: we do get a fair share of readers from France. And to all of you, our heartfelt merci beaucoup!
