With horizontal stripes in two shades of green and sporting a white collar, the new third jersey seeks inspiration in the models worn by rugby players. As football, rugby is a sport of strength and a lot of heart, in addition to sharing the same origins as football. Palmeiras’ new jersey serves to reinforce the connection between the two sports.
Made from 100% polyester, the shirt features the exclusive new ClimaCool technology which ensures perfect ventilation of the body and comfort to the player. The model also has a holographic adidas symbol – with a design inspired by the FIFA World Cup – in order to ensure the uniqueness of the product.
The new uniform – that will be used for the first time this coming Saturday (30) in the Brasileirão game against Goiás – is already available at Mundo Palmeiras, the official store of S.E. Palmeiras.

On a personal note, I wasn’t thrilled about the looks of this jersey when I first saw it, but it’s growing on me. It’s indeed rugby inspired, but also has a sort of “social” aspect to it, like any regular polo top; I guess that’s what bothering me slightly. Well, in any case it’s apparently already a huge success in terms of sales. Let’s see how it looks and behaves when worn by actual players this Saturday.
vestir uma camisa como esta não e para muitos.
só quem sabe honra uma camisa tão linda como esta pode usar.
BELLA CAMICIA!

Hi Kristian,
Congratulations for your blog. I think the jersey is just great….I will buy one for me as a Christmas gift.
Hopefully, I will wear it celebrating the victory in the final match against LDU or Independiente.
Let’s believe…the future is green.
Best regards.
On the first time i hated this jersey
On the second time i kinda like it
But now, if a see one in a store i am sure that i’ll buy one no matter the price
Stefano and Paulo,
Seems like most people think like you: sceptical at first, but then loving it! I might get one myself, but normally I wait a bit (or quite a while, actually)… I’m only today getting the blue shirt, for you to have an idea.
Have a good weekend!
