Wherever green is, we live. The campaign reinforces the green home, wherever it is and whatever it may be, to present the new jerseys. The launch on pitch is scheduled for the Brazil Cup Finals.

Palmeiras and PUMA Brazil today launch the HOME and AWAY kits for the 2021 season. The campaign “Wherever green is, we live” presents the new uniforms through a manifest video that celebrates places that represent Palmeiras’ home and the achievements and titles that have painted history green.

The PUMA campaign enhances Palmeiras homes, spread across neighbourhoods, cities and countries: green spaces that characterize and highlight the presence and plurality of the Brazilian club, represented in the HOME shirt. Translated into the AWAY shirt are the five crowns of 1950 and 51, representing the consecutive titles that spread Palmeiras’ fame across the country and the world, leading to evermore Palmeiras representations taking shape.

“The new jersey is in honour of Palmeiras’ houses; doesn’t matter if we’re talking the home of a supporter, a bakery or any other work place. A Palmeiras house is where they hang a flag, paint the walls green and serve as a meeting place for fans. Places that take part of history, that share the club’s achievements”, says Fabio Kadow, PUMA’s Brazil marketing director. “We have reached the third year of partnership with Palmeiras celebrating an incredible season on and off the pitch, motivated to continue building history with the club”, he concludes.

“The new shirts arrive to crown a very fortunate season on the pitch and to plan ahead for a promising new year together with our solid partner PUMA, a partner who understands the Palmeiras spirit. We hope to continue writing this story of success in the coming years”, says Palmeiras president, Mauricio Galiotte.

The uniforms will be worn throughout the 2021 season, but due to changes to the 2020 calendar of Brazilian football, they will debut already in the 2020 Brazil Cup Finals, against Grêmio, taking place 28 February and 7 March.
