Having launched the home, away and third kit of the season, in addition to a special jersey paying tribute to the 1999 Copa Libertadores title, PUMA treats Palmeiras supporters to a special edition of a classic: the ROMA PALMEIRAS, in honor of the club’s 14 national titles.
The sneaker was first launched in 1968, paying homage to Italy’s European championship title. The new ROMA PALMEIRAS comes in suede, with leather Formstripe, design features in green, sanded EVA midsole and rubber outsole. The insole, unique, comes in the colours and with the badge of the club, as does the tongue. The heel features illustrations of the 14 national trophies won by Palmeiras up until the year of 2018: 10 Brazilian Championships, three Brazilian Cups and the Champions Cup anno 2000.
The model will be available as of tomorrow, Wednesday 25 September, initially only in Palmeiras’ physical and online stores, but soon also on the PUMA website. Price tag, R$ 449/US$ 110.
We’re only in September, but trust us, palmeirenses are already addressing their letters to Santa.
