  3. Salve salve Kristian!

You don’t have idea how’s good to see, from here, amazing ideas like yours, to see that the passion doesn’t have frontiers or any other limits! And when is all about Palmeiras, well, maybe you’ve already heard about this guy, Joelmir Beting, who said:

“Explaining the thrill of being Palmeiras, to a palmeirense, is totally unnecessary. And who is not palmeirense … It’s just impossible.”

Um forte abraço, de São Paulo

    1. Hi Leonardo, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to leave your mark and, not least, those marvelous and true words by master Beting. He’s certainly dearly missed among us palmeirenses.

      Forte abraço right back at’ya!
      Kris

  4. Yo, Kristian!

This is one cool blog. Just keep up the nice job you´re doing, Say, buddy, the idea of spreading the love you devote for Palmeiras to foreign people around the world´s such a wonderfully master crafted task. I´ll be stoping by frequently from now on – and you better bet on it – to share my thoughts with the white and green planet. I´ll be surely voting for you for the 2013 awards and I´ll encourage a bunch of my friends to do the same. We are in the edge of going back to the A series but still far from having the team we deserve and must have as THE protagonist of Brazilian football in the past hundred years. So allow me to use a syllogism with the due major premise, a minor premise, and a conclusion: Brazilina football was the past century the best in the world; Palmeiras was rhe best Brazilian team in the past century THAN Palmeiras was the best team in the world in the XX century. That´s it: against facts, there are no arguments! See y´all, Marco

    1. Well, Marco, with feedback like that, what could go wrong? Thank you! And thank you for spreading the word about Anything Palmeiras and help out in the voting: this years the competition certainly will stiffen up as the award becomes more known.

Hope to see you around a lot. Cheers!
      Kristian

  6. Woooah! Need to keep my glasses at hand. Sorry for the typing errors but I can hardly see the keyboard without my glasses and without them I just can´t find them either.
    Cheers!

  7. Well done, Kristian. It’s quite interesting to observe how you, who literally “found” Palmeiras as in sort of an epiphany, can keep a clear mind about the team, its obvious historical greatness and its stumping present shortcomings as well. Most “palmeirenses” are loath to admit such decisive flaws, which spells even more problems for a full and steady recovery. In my view, we should aim at technical improvement within the pitch, but I hardly see that coming along. Poor players means poor games, it’s that simple. It may be good enough for B series, but come next year we will be struggling again and barely making headway. Let’s just hope the front office realizes this, and move towards the right decisions.

    Keep up the fine job,

    Best regards

    Marco Tulio

  13. Acabei de postar no Youtube do Talksport a mensagem a seguir, trata-se de texto original meu, não é tradução de Google, pode usar como quiser, abraço, Avanti Palestra! After conceding a goal early in the match and a run-of-the-mill performance in the first half, Palmeiras came back with great spirit in the second half, destroying the defense of Sport from Recife, marking a great turnaround which put them second in the table. The goals were scored by Leandro Barcia for sport, Luiz Adriano and Felipe Melo for the Big Green. You can reach the highlights of the match by searching Palmeiras 2×1 Sport. This match was played yesterday for the Brazilian Championship.

    1. Bom dia Tarciso, tudo bem?

  14. Brief on Brazilian football. The Brazilian Championship 29th round is due on next weekend and Palmeiras play Grêmio in Porto Alegre on Sunday. Palmeiras opponent are placed last but one in the table, with the four last clubs to be relegated Grêmio are at high risk at the moment, especially because there are few rounds to go. Although in second Palmeiras have little chance to win the trophy for the same reason, few rounds to go, Atlético Mineiro are in first 13 points ahead and very consolidated, so the trophy is nearly in the bag of the Minas Gerais’ team, but as it’s always said in football, it’s not done and dusted, considering that the next Atlético’s match is away against Flamengo who are in 4th, with some missing matches to play that were postponed because some of their players were called up for the squad, Flamengo still believe they can catch up which makes this content in Maracanã on saturday very interesting. That’s it for now, see you!
