The IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) has appointed Palmeiras the second best club of 2020, only trailing Bayern Munich. Palmeiras is the only South American club among the top ten.
The survey is drawn up annually and takes performance, victories and scores into account. Among Brazilian clubs, the podium is completed by Grêmio (16th place) and Santos (32nd place).
