PUMA and Palmeiras celebrate recent Triple Crown with new THIRD uniform

Today, 25 August, PUMA Brasil and Palmeiras launch their new THIRD uniform for the 2021 season. Through the campaign “From Where the Gold Come”, the new jersey commemorates the historic achievement of the Triple Crown, composed by the 2020 titles of the São Paulo state championship, the Brazil Cup, and the Conmebol Libertadores Cup.

The “From Where the Gold Come” campaign promotes a Triple Crown retrospective in three acts, each symbolizing one of the three championships. Each act, in turn, will be divided into chapters that represent the total number of matches played during the achievements. Altogether, there will be 37 chapters portrayed through art and phrases that highlight outstanding moments in each game.

The art will be featured on 37 plaques, placed at iconic places with a strong connection to Palmeiras, such as the surroundings of the Allianz Parque, the social club, the Football Academy, official Palmeiras stores, bakeries, restaurants, and others.

At the Allianz Parque, the new THIRD jersey will be on display in PALMEIRAS’ TROPHY ROOM, to be inaugurated tomorrow, August 26, on the club’s 107th anniversary. All 37 pieces of art of the “From Where the Gold Come” campaign will also be on display in the trophy room, placed in chronological order.

“The year 2020 was one of the most victorious in all of our history. Winning the Triple Crown was a huge achievement, and we are very proud for having given our supporters this joy. Paying homage to the Paulista, Copa do Brasil and Libertadores titles with a jersey means materializing the determination of our athletes and handing that over to our supporters. This shows how the partnership with PUMA has become increasingly solid”, says Palmeiras president Maurício Galiotte.

As part of PUMA’s Faster Football movement, which seeks to push boundaries, innovate and introduce new things to football, the THIRD uniform was created celebrating a very recent achievement in Palmeiras’ history, which is rather unusual in football. “Why wait?” asks Fabio Kadow, marketing director at PUMA Brasil. “It is a very important moment in our partnership, a historic achievement, which needs to be celebrated now. It made no sense waiting years to pay tribute”, he concludes.

The THIRD jersey is available as from today on PUMA.com and PalmeirasStore.com, in addition to in PUMA physical stores and club stores, ticketed at R$ 269,90 (R$ 249,90 female version and children’s sizes). Avanti members enjoy complementary P&P on purchases made through PalmeirasStore.com.
