PUMA Brasil today launched Palmeiras’ THIRD uniform for the season. Through the campaign “Our green doesn’t fade”, the new jersey celebrates the renewals that the club goes through, honouring its new generation of fans and players. To represent this sentiment, young men from the current squad like Gabriel Verón, Gabriel Menino and Patrick de Paula were selected, as well as young talents Lurdinha and Angelina from Palmeiras’ female squad and also of the Brazilian U-20 Team.
The new campaign and uniform draws a parallel between the renewal and the club’s winning cycle. Be it in the strength and firmness by which Palmeiras presents itself in the face of challenges and changes outside the pitch, as well as within it. “We created this campaign to highlight the renewal and strength that has always been present at Palmeiras throughout history and that is even more evident nowadays, with the difficulties imposed by the pandemic for everyone”, says Fabio Kadow , marketing director at PUMA Brasil. The debut of the new uniform happens this Sunday (23) in the Brazilian Championship game against Santos at the Morumbi.
“Today, Palmeiras has a champion youth base and is the club that most provide players to the different categories of the Brazilian national team. Here, our young enjoy a first-rate structure and develop their full potential in modern and high-quality facilities. Modernity is also the word that reflects our partnership with PUMA, who understood this moment of renewal and created this jersey, which, although new, carries all the grandeur of the history and tradition of Palestra Italia”, celebrates Maurício Galiotte , President of Palmeiras.
Like the HOME and AWAY kits, the THIRD Palmeiras 2020 jersey also features the exclusive print developed by international designers from PUMA, inspired by the illustrations in the handbook that Italian immigrants received upon arrival in Brazil, but this time limited to the sleeves. The uniform features green in all its pieces (jersey, shorts and socks), highlighted for the first time by a monochromatic club emblem, in “Elektro Green”, as well as the PUMA logo. The cut is straight and the fabric comes with DRY CELL technology, which absorbs moisture and makes it easier for the skin to breathe, keeping sweat away from the body and making the supporter feel more comfortable. The THIRD shirt will be available as of tomorrow (21) with exclusive sales on PUMA.com and PalmeirasStore.com, in addition to physical PUMA and Palmeiras stores.
Remember: original PUMA products have a holographic seal with the Palmeiras badge on the label, guaranteeing the quality and originality of the product.
